Day's out in Cornwall with kids. We visited St Michaels Mount last week and had the most fabulous day! The Mount has inspired storytellers through the ages – sharing tales of magic, myth and mystery. Giants, mermaids, miracles and more. From the moment you set foot on the causeway to make your way across to the island there is an other worldly feel that takes hold. Find out more...
I have followed Alice in Scandiland for a number of years. I love her house, and style, I also love her frankness and ‘behind the scenes’ moments in her Instagram Stories. Her feed is always a beautiful curation of her home and family, I find her daily posts to be a real inspiration and they have an honesty that has spurred me on at times when I have felt like throwing the towel in with social media.
This isn't a blog post to talk about why living coastally has changed our lives, but there’s no denying that it has had a massive impact on all three of us. It’s a post about what do you do when you have fulfilled your dream. What when you have a great whacking hole where your ambition and drive used to flourish are you supposed to do?
A recent trip to the St Ives Barbara Hepworth museum and gardens of sculpture. I took so many amazing photo's I wanted to share them in a blog post. I found it such an inspirational place and hope you can get a sense of that. I feel so lucky to have such a place on our doorstep. It is hard to explain but visiting is almost like stepping back in time, whilst being thrust forward. The modern, commanding sculptures are beautifully dramatic, but there is still a sense of the artist still being here. There are her tools in the workshop and plants in the greenhouse, there's even a cat asleep on the window ledge.
