Wandering, meandering, bimbling or pootling. Summer is a time for the slow lane. A time to notice the small details; berries on the hedgerow, tiny sparkles of sea glass or the foam on the shoreline as the waves gently lap.
The school holidays are very nearly upon us and I cannot wait for life to slow down a notch or two, days without restrictions, mornings that can start a little later and those warm summer evenings that can linger a little longer. Four more days!
